I understand the problem with the author he just want to fulfil a power fantasy so any characters that draws popularity other than the protag will garner dislike from him at least that’s my theory.. like if a character is disliked by everyone you should not kill them off in a underwhelming way…and if a character is loved their deaths should make your eyes overflow with tears
