MC loves to fight for antiquated ideas. He did it back in the day and now that the ideal of the man that killed him is becoming outdated, he’s going to fight to keep that alive.

His aunt was being fairly courteous towards him. There wasn’t even a hint of hostility laced into her offer to work with her. She’s cold, sure, but not hostile. MC comes off as quite shortsighted for provoking and disrespecting her like this in her own home. What does this even gain him, aside from increasing the likelihood of wanting MC killed right here and now… He’s a good trashtalker, but this chapter made clear he has no nose for when to use this to his advantage. This was just instigating friction to his and his House’s detriment.
