Guy who plays with corpses pretends like he has the high ground. Also this set up was retarded. The entire first legion is on stand by at all times and within walking distance.
Maybe if he spent less time giving a poorly thought out sermon he could write a good scenario.

The “beg and I might forgive you” is a cliche, honestly, I wouldn’t mind it, but it was so out of character for that guy, even if he wanted to humiliate him. Something like “[…] and I might make your death less painful” while still out of character would be more fitting
