They better explain how those test are conducted, and not leave it just like that. I can understand that necromancy may “leave a trace” because the bodies that have been resurrected contained the Necromancer mana, however the MC use a very different type of Necromancy which consist of a type of soul binding and manipulation. The MC clearly dispel the cast MAGI which in return completely freed those souls. The souls disperse into nothing and left no physical body to study and conduct a test.
Now the MC is suppose to be top echelon of Necromancy, and knows that there’s a priest watching him 24/7 and he obviously know’s that priest capabilities as stated in the previous chapter, so why would he cast something that can be trace. It makes no sense.
If it’s not explain in a satisfactory manner, I’ll call BAD WRITING.

And there’s the death flag for the Priest.
