So..he didn’t get reborn but instead received a possession. Question is, what if the guy got covid and this was covid years meaning he needs to waste time under lockdown. Then he’ll regret becoming a human just to receive Vax + 3xbooster. I think he got scammed by long-ears..
So, he lived not with her, but near her for a few weeks or months at best (since we can clearly see she didn’t age one bit) and somehow grew so fond of her he exterminated hundreds of yokai (most of them being innocent since how many could have come to kill just one human…)?
Moreover, after all that killing spree, he came to conclusion it’s better to throw away his immortality and powers he had to just die as a human?
He could very well kill himself if he wanted to die so badly…
I had high hopes for the introduction after seeing the end of chapter one, but in MY opinion it was executed poorly – even though it had so much promise.
Anyway, I’ll give it a benefit of doubt and see how it goes, since the rating is pretty good
