Some people understand healthy competition, others don’t. Healthy competition is where people struggle against one another, strive to improve themselves to surpass others, and their entire group (family, clan, sect, country, whatever) benefits from the increase in strength. Unhealthy competition is where someone sabotages and drags down others to make them weaker than themself while not improving anything, thus weakening their group and improving nothing. Yan Yang gets it, Murong Yu has no clue. Gu Heng ($#!+heel that poisoned his cousin) also is completely ignorant.
