Also for those that don’t remember, Ying Yueru is Nie Li’s first life master and Long Yuyin’s martial sister, she inherited a strange cultivation that exchanges lifetime for glimpses of the future, fate and understanding of a subject.
In this timeline she changed her and Nie Li’s fate (or something along this line) and sacrificed herself to extend the period that he would stay undetected by the Sage Emperor’s minions.

i’ll be honest. nie lie master don’t have much screentime in the novel and even in this manhwa it was just a bit of a short meetings. but when i read it back then…has it been almost a decade ago?…back then when i read about her, i did grown attached to her character a bit and want her to continue being nie lie’s master in this lifetime.
the way mad snail told her story makes it feel that her character is not a passerby but a real support character for nie lie. then suddenly she disappear from nie lie life and then die.
i remember at that time i hate mad snail for making a version of Aeris in his story. lol
