I love this manga, but the thing they got wrong was farming and economics… A good 70% of land in all kingdoms where farmland, and there are a few outliners like glass from Venice or Bohemia, or Silk from Milan or Válencia…
Economics wise all manga treats it like globalism, just a handfull of nations ever import large quantities of food.
