It has slipped, the translation has. Substituting verbosity and large words that don’t string together well, to try to compensate for a lack of a grasp on English.
It’s like the word salad that Kamala person used, but with bigger words.

And here I thought the last 2 chapters’ translation was bad, this is just flat-out jarring
Also, “Charles Rossi” is obviously Charles Bronson reincarnated into that world – the same weather-beaten face, the same moppy head of hair, the same insubordinate loner personality, and last but not the least the same scraggly mustache
