and that’s where the timeline splits ~chapter 180
in a future arc it is shown that Zelyse is helped by a future version of him.
Being smart about it and not wanting to change the timeline too much his future self only informs him of not putting too much magic stone golem on the invasion because Fran somehow became too powerful after that and he thinks it’s because of the golems.
This decision has a major impact on the future events
