I really hope some genuine romance develops in this story, but I doubt it will, except maybe in the last chapter with a brief scene of hand-holding and a cheek kiss. 🤣 It’s frustrating when many girls swoon over the MC who shows no interest, though, of course, he’s not obliged to return those feelings. If the MC doesn’t show any interest, it feels like the story is wasting its potential. I can’t help but think of all the other great things the story could do if it trimmed some of the excessive unrequited-love c*ck blocking stuff.
I’m pretty sure this is based on a light novel, right? If so, could someone please let me know how things are handled in the book? Ideally, with a spoiler tag, I don’t want to screw everyone else over. Thanks!
