ironic that he knows what the butterfly effect is yet he’s like “i shouldnt change the plot line” the whole concept of the butterfly effect is that a butterfly flapping its wings can erase cities off the map if it was sent back in time. he is playing politics and all sorts of other things what does one maid matter. he is a titan sent back in time basically stop thinking so hard
He’s already defying his fate by prolonging his life and getting rid of his negative traits.. he doesn’t even know what would happen if he tried to change the outcome if the story, so why bother? Defy fate and save those who deserve to be saved.. destroy those who deserve to be destroyed..

It’s rather cruel for the system or whatever to tell him to ignore injustice and death just for the sake of staying true to the story line. I hope it’s really a test, like he’s supposed to do the opposite in order to regain his memories or something.
