What the hell is with the metal ring? It ain’t armour is it fashion? The ogre have loincloths and clubs plus they seem unintelligent. How did they get these rings and leather?

Author is really making MC an Elric espy. I wonder would mean that love inserted is eventually going to get imnplaed on Strombringer.
I mean inherent illness, dealing with demons, prolonging life by killing (and probably will get addicted to it)
I wonder why author used older brothers trope, if want to be more like the inspiration , MC being a price with jealous – sorcerer causing would work better.
