Ok so the development of everyone is just 
want to see more.
The thought of the MC killing him doesn’t sit right as he Isn’t really meant to intervene in the main story too much as stated by the system. He might just end up in a draw with him, one of them might back off, or the demon might intervene and stop it thinking that the MC might be of some use as he becomes a demon later in the original game.
Nice that he put up a barrier to block the sound. I also get the feeling that resolving him will add some life force.
