Terminally-Ill Genius Dark Knight - Chapter 82

Ugh, I don’t know what it is exactly but the quality of the writing and art just seems worse now. It’s falling down that hole of focusing too much on poorly framed action panels that fill half the chapter. Seems like a lot of manhwas end up like this.

For example look how drawn out the scene is with Elena falling
> shot of the ground crumbling
> Nox reacting/noticing the ground crumbling
>everyone else reacting to the ground crumbling
>close up of the floor falling out
>shot of Elena losing her balance
>Elena falling
>shot of everyone reacting to Elena falling

like god damit this is 7 full screen panels dedicated to one action sequence that would normally less than half a page in a manga. This is why these manhwas start to feel like theres a whole lot of nothing happening.

The whole thing with Noah is just dumb now. All her intellect went out the window, shes a battle hungry meathead and how she regained her original form is never explained. Her whole plan apparently is to allow Paimon to resurrect so she can fight and kill him. Nevermind that it took herself, the sword emperor and Nox’s dad all fighting together to only barely be able to seal Paimon since they couldnt kill him either.

Can’t wait till Nox solos Paimon (even when he said Paimon would be impossible for him earlier)
