I don’t know what to be weirded out more by – the casual “let’s buy a slave” attitude or how free the slaves seem to be? It’s almost like the company that owns them is “stuck” with their care and feeding and living expenses until they decide they want to take a job?? What?
Normally i stop reading a comic when the MC expresses that they’re ok with slavery (because i lose the ability to sympathize with their situation at that point) – but this take on it is so fucking weird i kinda want to keep reading for the worldbuilding.
The other reason i stop reading an isekai story is when the MC does nothing with their knowledge gained from living in our reality. This one hasn’t done anything with it, not even inventing so much as a wheelbarrow ffs.
I think I’ll switch to Brave, the ads in this site have become way too insufferable!
