What BS! If you boil blood, you end up with a solid black-ish lump.
There are even traditional dishes IRL that uses that.
Admittedly it’s an acquired taste.
Anyways, you can’t drink blood, if you have boiled it. Eating, yes, drinking, no.

Hmmm…
having noticed previously…
“the inner thoughts as narration”….
every plot hole is covered up by the MCs own plot armor or his own narration.
Everything is reactive… as though the author made up the plot as he went along and explained the solutions in the MCs thoughts.
It’s not a great story… once you see that!
