Don’t worry there is ‘hope’ the author is a retard and a bufoon and he’ll have a grand slobber fest and they will redeem that ruby colored rotted fruit of the crotch.
So they tried to paint her I’m a different light but it only showed she was worse than we all thought. To go through all of that with someone to have them stand by you and you disrespect and belittle them every chance you get..yeah she definitely deserves everything she’s getting and more.
Even while trying to paint a sympathetic image of Ruby, it fails due to her being obnoxious and self centered. I can understand her resentment for nobles, but to take out her frustration on the one person who has stood by her. Nah she’s a monster and should be destroyed. Any one who calls you friend/companion, but ends up using you for their own ends is no friend worth having.
It’s not that I don’t buy trauma from poverty as a kid making you bitter like Ruby, but it feels like shoving all this into one chapter was a lot.
I’d buy it more if Ruby had started closer to the middle or learned how dependent she was on Lloyd a bit more.
The author needs to stick with either making Ruby a horrible person or someone who is academically talented, but stupid in all other regards. It feels like they have been flip-flop ping between the two and judging from the reactions people don’t like the result. Other than that, the story has been pretty good so far.

Was this chapter suppose to make the audience sympathies with Ruby? Cause it seemed to fail to do so, I mean certain things made a little since but not enough to really feel sorry for the character.
she’s abusive and controlling and no amount of seeing things from her perspective will absolve her of what she’s done.
author there are soooooooooo many jobs out there so one of them should be a job where you are good at i wish you good luck finding it you can do it <3
