It’s probably something about being bonded meaning marriage or something that complicates the situation. Our that being bonded to a deity leads you to becoming one and he has to leave the continent yada yada. Even so it’ll likely end in both staying and Arthur with like 4-5 wives. Tess, Jas, Slyvie, Kath, and maybe one more. I’m guessing something like that

You are not certified and so just stop being a pest to This community. 
And also, when compared to Arthur, no body in this story as done anything
One of the things that makes this manga so good it the character development. If you remember, even Art was weak while he was still getting used to his body, and the only reason why he is even so strong in the first place is because he has his past life’s memories. If it was not for that then he would not only most-likely be weaker than Tess but also have to go through the same hardships as he has already with no strength. As someone that has read the novel and am currently re-reading this i think that the “getting better and betr” is and under statement. Also, if Tess was so bad then Arthur would most likely not bother, but becase of her he has gained something (more percisely someone) to get stronger for, excluding his family ofc.
