The main character has died at least hundreds of times and had to nearly lose his ability to walk just to compete with the leader’s subordinate’s subordinate. Knowing that the deities they talked as a kid was telling her she is too weak. Lance got a killed easily, she is no where NEAR lance powers… Tess will die cause there ain’t no way
This is very heavy foreshadowing. He’s letting her go to war because she was good enough but from the training we’ve seen of the main character she is definitely not good enough and neither is the old man. The main character is going to have to save her or possibly leave his training early in order to get to her in time.
I hate how feminism creep in to manga. In any sane society women stay with kids and men go make war. Yet here author paints a picture of gender equality, and even put ideas that women are somewhat more capable than men. I think it’s a sick fantasy to suggest that and misleads readers. I understand that this is fantasy world but just like in our reality we can’t have modern women(a b!tch or a feminist ) who is traditional. Their society should have same troubles as ours have. Pandering to women emancipation movement and weird power fantasies of manga authors is the reason of masculinity crisis. You produce simps and femboys by showing them that kind of crap.
