The new training arc and upgrades. The story gets better from here as it slowly starts answering LOTS of questions.

Art was probably 70% figurehead. So he has much more experience than a regular person, but not as much as he thinks he has.
Power levels. White core is not the highest end of strength. For a human it sort of is.. but the weakest white core and the strongest is quite wide apart. Remember, we’ve seen the asura. There are perhaps hundreds or thousands of each family. And each asura is probably closer to a white core than not almost right away as children or young adults and often stronger or much stronger as adults…but their mana does not work the same way in their bodies as a human/core set up. Just look at Sylvia. She’s only a few years old and can keep up with white core battles.
Theres a lot of spoilers regarding power scaling here. Just keep in mind, white core is strong…but theres a lot more to be revealed. Once they reveal more, you’ll feel like the scaling is making much more sense.
As for art messing up…ya he has 2 sets of loved ones in danger. I think most people would either abandon their post or be tempted to.
The worst part is that gramps dont even know arthur abandoned his post at the wall to “help” tess and even arthur didn’t know that the soldiers were sent out earlier than planned because of flamesworth so lord only know what happened while arthur was gone… when gramps sees the report he’s gonna have a heart attack

Just came to see how things were going. Glad to see the pain to come is getting closer to an epic event. No spoilers, just glad to see a moment in the story I’ve been waiting for is about 15-30 chapters away with a major canon event about to happen in 10 or so chapters!!

War. Those in charge are often tasked with either following their orders risking being seen as callous cogs of the war machine or following their emotions risking dereliction of duty charges. Bad part is, either choice might be the wrong one–or the better one. But so far Elenor, Arthur, and that Flamesworth Dude (flames”worthless” IMO) have all chosen poorly recently. And those choices seem to be due to fear, fear, and pride (or arrogance), respectively.
