My theory: Melissa revived the demons because it also revived the barbarian whom had consumed enough demon blood to essentially be considered a demon himself.
Ah so it’s the classic, hero was feeling useless/loosing status afterwards hence brought on another tide of demons to regain power.
Potential someone did it to call MC again.
Somehow, it’s similiar troupe with “Damn Reincarnation”
Seems our arch paladin is directionally challenged, if she still hasn’t managed to catch up after that lengthy fight.
I think the most predictable lines are:
- the hero (gale) turns evil/corrupted and becomes final boss #2
- demons are good and the gods are evil
- the game got a dlc and this guy has to play it
Maybe it will be some story that after demons were defeated, the humans didn’t attain peace. And simply began wars with eacher for land, resources and other bs, since the common enemy vanished. And it disgusted a Hero, so he decided to resurrect demons to bring this common problem back so that humans didn’t go mindlessly killing each other, when it was thay hard to gain peace for humanity. Also, interesting that “Barbarians” are slaves. Even considering that one of the members in Hero party was Barbarian, that helped with slaying demons, and sacrificed himself. Would be weird for his comrads to ignore such mistreatment of their comrades people. So something happened there to

I believe that Melissa was distraught by the barbarian leaving and figured out that he was a “player” through research or the gods and the only way to bring back the barbarian is to create a world in which a “player” would be summoned.
