First of all, calling Lubu who had conquered the world with force alone is objectively false, there are reasons why he betrayed literally everyone, he is not as scheming as other, but he do use his brain sometime as he is really cautious of everyone except Diaochan. Second, he didn’t die without popularity nor did he die alone, he died from execution after being captured, tried to say he will serve the guy who captured but because of his backstabbing past, he was executed. He is by far, the most popular character to have come out of 3 kingdoms era, the only one that has nearly as much fame as him is Guan Yu and Zhuge Lang. People have always like the idea of an almighty warrior, and he was probably the most notable in that era.
