It’s obvious that her time with the Black Forest Defense wasn’t good for her. She may have even regressed as a person. Even with all the power she holds now, she’s still that frail, confused, scared girl that she was way back in Part 1. Still being unable to grow and develop her body naturally doesn’t help in that regard either. And she’s still a brat (one that can now eviscerate 90% of the cast in a second), but her brattiness is played for drama now instead of comedy due to the massive tonal shift between parts. She doesn’t have a healthy support circle that Siwoon had and it honestly makes her a tragic character.

And our boy Shi-Woon has developed a lot. Way back in the beginning of Part 1, Shi-Woon was such a pathetic piece of shit that he was willing to sell out his friends to get assaulted just so he could avoid an ass beating. But look at him now, being so observant and delicate with the entire situation. His only major hang up atm is his willingness to go on a suicide mission against Goomoonryong. So-Seol and Shi-Woon need each other more than ever these days, so I’m hoping they’re able to have their happy ending together.
