I think he mainly did it to get revenge for his master and Shiho even if it meant hurting his disciple, and now he has just completely snapped lol..

as a reader knowing everything, things that the other characters don’t know, i can totally understand him. i understand his pain of looking 2 of the most important people in his life to the same people and being misunderstood by everyone even your dumb a$$ student don’t. but as a reader i understand what he is doing to save the one and only person left that he care about.. and that is the only way to keep him out pf trouble.. but knowing mc’s dumb a$$ he will always be getting in the way.. he never should have existed.. gomunreoung should have been the mc.. and also seeing the comments makes me loose hole in humanity
