Technically speaking that dark guilt should rely only one physical weapons, poison and the like, as the more evil the soul, the less magic they are able to use. And Lean is able to see the darkness of the soul, so he should be aware of them as long as they enter his line of sight. Plus he has the Divine Beasts around him.
