The Child Loved By God - Chapter 7
Comments for chapter "Chapter 7"
>Sets up a wholesome story about a pure-hearted child, gifted with a strong destiny and power, but he’s cute and chill, so nothing heavy handed,
>Introduces major conflict and violence into the story, by shoving in The Catholic Church, setting up a story that pivots almost immediately from chill SOL into conflict.
Why?
I guess I know now why this was half-arsed with barely edited MTL. The manga itself is also clearly half-arsed itself.
That’s really too bad, it had such a nice start, even if simplistic. It really doesn’t need to do all that much, just do 1 thing and do it well.
Seems odd that they are calling him saint in one breath (representative of a god) and then lord god (the actual god, which his resurrection power probably proves) in another. If so what was god thinking letting the parents and king, thus the rest of the world, know he is god? Kinda setting up friction with the holy infrastructure while still a child. Probably make a tsundre drama out of the spoiled pope/child that started this in the first place.
Holy beast: dies after resurrecting a wolf beastman
Lean: causally resurrects a Holy Beast with no effort whatsoever
Plus I didn’t remember that he had the power to accidentally curse others, and this only out of genuine frustration, with no intention to actually cause harm
That’s probably the fugliest lion ever drawn in a manga.
I think they forgot to translate this, cause there’s no way this is English

I can’t wait for the church to get destroyed.
