I accidentally just went through this chapter in less than 2 minutes. The pacing feels a bit rushed, and mc’s decision for light magic really seems extremely trivial, it feels like the author wanted to write a story about someone with light powers and then thought up of the reasoning afterwards. If light magic is used for healing then it really would make more sense if more people chose it and went into the medical field considering how modern the story seems rather than it just disappearing after 200 years after a big war. Hopefully we get more in depth world building later about the modern magic world.
