Hm. Yeah, it all made sense now – the constellation fights bare handed while he has a sword relic… it’s for his master (MC) to remember him and maybe let him use it

So the Sword wasn’t a personal weapon it was a way to remember his master…
Our Slayers do the same, big scarred lad wi a delicate bauble cuz its all he has left of lost family…
