For everyone complaining, I got the impression that the MC needed money quickly, that was why he didn’t want to wait 2-3 weeks to get back the earnings from the auction, despite the fact that it would have been worth more that way. If that’s not the case, then for sure, this is dumb.
Nonetheless, I’d recommend that, if you’d like to enjoy any anime/manga/novel, don’t critic things so heavily and learn to turn off your brain to things like this.
