So I live in the countryside, and my house is surrounded by miles of forest. We commonly get complete idiots who don’t know proper safety when hunting coming in to our backyards and shooting at anything that moves, and I just wanted to say that while I was reading the section where he was shooting some retard fired 6 shots from what sounded like a assault rifle(they’re legal where I live) and then a man screaming in pain. Turns out the retard shot another hunter thinking he was a deer, on our property. Just want u all to know the importance of thinking before you shoot.
also don’t use a AK to hunt deer.

The Korean K2 is a all domestic (made in Korea) shoulder fired, gas operated service rifle that replaced the US M16 for active duty use. At the time of it’s inception it had many improvements over the M16. I’ve shot the semi-automatic version of it and it is easy to handle, easy to clean and very accurate easily beating the US military standards for the M16 and AR15 that also meet US military standards but not some of the more expensive variants. I suspect they were scrupulous in making sure those beat the US standards as a point of pride. Who would not?
Like the M16/AR15 variants it can be converted to different ammo with an upper change out but due to the limited distribution of the K2 and little to no aftermarked it is ruinously expensive.
If they did have a KX2 expanded for rounds in the .300+ caliber range then yea it’d kick but it would be a bit better than the M16/AR15 platform.
