I honestly think it’s stupid he basically was back doored because he used such tricks. Sure you can also say because he wasn’t using his dominant hand, but I’ll let that slide really since he was handicap. But he did good for basically using his non-dominant hand.
Sword fighting isn’t just all about brute force all the time. Just like with fighting in general you can’t fight your way 24/7 using brute force, because it’ll be predictable, which is why you need to expand your horizon when it comes to sword fighting.
In short (for those who don’t want to read all of that), all I’m saying is…you have to find different ways to basically defeat your opponents and surprise them too
