I didnt remember it so i had to ask chatgpt for it lol

I mean her mom technically still “alive” in spirit form and later will reincarnate so this surge of emotion from him is kinda unconvincing for me especially knowing what happen later in the story from reading the LN…..
For some reason, I couldn’t feel anything in this chapter – the anger had no build-up (maybe if I were to reread everything, or read the ln, I might feel different), the incident happened multiple years ago (like 4-5 years, for an Isekai MC) character is shown and written to be in control of his emotions and act rationally, but his mind broken in second when meeting the dude. I get that initially the losing of his family was written quite viscerally, but that was over 50 chapters and multiple years ago for the readers.
Why would the author start with some silly apple seller or book demon (which gave him skills) when the focus of this chapter/story is the MCs feelings regarding a hero who seems to have changed himself. It should focus more on flashbacks, the emotions the MC felt when everything came crashing down in his short 1-2 year life. I see that someone had onion ninjas visiting him, but for such a major story point, I just couldn’t help but feel like this was really poorly done and the author messed up an important point in Vandelieus story..
Looks like things are heating up.
MC got to be a bit more creative in his plan to kill his mother murderer after all it got to be satisfying
