Ok, let’s ignore the ethics of murdering and so on. If you’re ready to raise kills as undead and brainwash for info, why not… Keep the charmed as soldiers and hands? I mean, even as spy and slaves, they’d have worth. It’s definitively not because it’s “bad” (especially if he kills them after). And he’s not lacking in resources (+, he could force them to eat their previous companions until he actually has no resources for them). And it’s not like he doesn’t want unreliable underlings (as he has the demon, angel, guild, elves, etc.).
