This may or may not be smart, but what if the MC tells the princess (who is looking for a different version of him) that the gang figured out that the version the princess is looking for got caught up with the demons and is being sold on the black market. After seeing how the princess reacted to the MC after he told her about this alter version of himself is doing, she would totally do something about the black market, and in the chaos (she might raid the auction) they sneak in and mass teleport everyone out (because the MC can instant teleport). Idk if this is a good/feasible idea or not, but would be interesting to see how something like that would play out.
