Im not gonna lie. The mom dying is stupid. She wasn´t that hurt. At least what we saw of her torso and arms which is all she needed to pull herself up. Maybe some moderate bruising but, she was a literal knight who definetley would have the upper body strength to pull herself up. And the fact that she was a woman probably means she was a bit lighter weight than a man would be making it even easier.
