The adult characters in this manwha are extremely retarded, those kids haven’t reached their full potential yet, killing each other is not going to assure them to get the best possible candidates, maybe one of the candidates would have turned out better than the ones who will survive, but they will never fucking know because they will be fucking dead, they are supposed to measure their potential by having them survive with the skill they have in that specific moment in time? how does that make any sense? It’s like a girl dumping a young Elon Musk because another kid had more money in that specific moment in time, you have no idea what the future of any of those kids will be like, and having them killed because they are weaker than the others in that specific time is very idiotic. It makes no sense whatsoever.
Even the main character in the start of the story was extremely weak, and he is showing an amazing improvement, by just watching him they should have already come to the conclusion that being weak doesn’t mean they will remain eternally weak.
