I dont understand manhuas. Everyone is so fixated on cultivation level. And everyone know exactly what someone is by a look. Now, the MC is defying logic and is able to somehow deal with higher ranked people…. sure, whatever. Plotarmor i guess.

But everyone else is solely relying on where they are on the ladder. NO ONE else beside the MC can defeat someone above their own level. Its just how the world of 90% of manhuas work. But not my gripe

….. why would anyone ever want to fight in this world? If you are not the MC, you take one look and you just know if you would win or lose. So why would there EVER be any duels? Sneak attacks, foul play, tampering doesnt count. There has to be a standard that everyone live by. If “cheating” is an aspect to be expected, they wouldnt fixate on cultivation the way they do. So in a fair play, and no FAFO, or some kind of morbid curiosity….. why would there ever be any duels? I just doesnt make sense. And somehow every murim manhua are just like this one
