Love how the artist/Illustrator is an actual fan of art or at least has some knowledge of it. So many references scattered in just 14 chapters.
See, this is good writing. MC won by being overpowered but without the author having to cook up how overpowered and risk a later logic conflict.
So all we know is the MC used some sort of OG skill to turn the tables. But by not expressing what or how, it saves any future situation where the author would want to create conflict/struggle but the audience is screaming, “the skill you gave him in Ch 14 would definitely solve this stupid author”
