I have a gripe: destroying dantians (permanently) should not be effected through a mere strike. One of the better ways I’ve seen in a story is that you basically either kill them (like physically remove the dantian) or have to invade their natal soul with your qi (which is extremely difficult because the soul naturally rejects foreign qi) and effectively use your qi like termites to delete their foundation.

In the first method, it’s possible for the body to “heal” and regrow the dantian but it effectively starts over and is difficult because the structure of the new dantian is different but your soul is still programmed to the structure of the old dantian.

The second method essentially requires being multiple major stages above the other guy AND be extremely skilled in external and internal qi manipulation. Can range from simply knocking down one wall in the house (possible and relatively simple to recover) to full on nuking the pathways in the body (requiring basically a god tier practitioner to use their qi to lay a new foundation of chakras in you and donate a piece of their soul to make those chakras useable – because otherwise the whole foreign qi conflict).
