What if the Demon Lord doesn’t want the job back? Cause we have learned the world will just force it’s Will upon the Demon Lord to be the big bad and create heroes to stop him. With MC currently the demon lord then the Demon Lord can just retire.
We have seen demons are perfectly capable of just living peacefully but the Will of the World just wants a constant conflict between two sides that never ends.
