This series has taken a serious downturn in this and the previous chapter. Things are rapidly spiraling out of control with insanely strong opponents everywhere and no time for the good guys to even recover let alone train and get stronger.
Everything is going to feel like plot armor of the worst sort.
Of course they’ll beat or otherwise run off the shapeshifting swordsman, not because it makes any sense for their current condition, but because they’re the good guys, MC and his friends.
