I knew this was coming 
On another note, I expected that purification to send that madman to hell since he had already turned into a manster, not to make him regain his sanity. But I have to say, I’m quite conflicted at this outcome… sure, he suffered multiple tragedies and got betrayed multiple times, but he did become a madman willing to turn into a monster that would ultimately end up inflicting massive pain to a very large amount of people and possibly even cause wars and become known as Demon King.
