This chapter was not fire, sure, but it was quite decent and it’s not like there has to be some face-slapping every chapter. I like this chapter more than manhua face-slapping, since it was both world-building two (book and present time with mc) worlds while also adding a stroke to this elf’s character.
And the fight was not touching as it might have been supposed to be, but this was still not a bad fight with a good ending. You see, MC is here to make this world better and prevent its destruction. And here he has put a soul to rest with the best way, giving his opponent a good fair fight as a warrior should.
And the art here is just about as in any other chapter. I’d say even funnier fact, onepunchman and attack on titan manga art style is kinda messed up, but this doesn’t make them worse or make the franchise less popular.
