I so confused, all I got right now is he was kicked out met his fiance saved her went to a village completely destroyed a hero and now he is about to defeat some dragon (I hope he makes it a pet)

Deadarm I think the author meant the country that sacrifices someone voluntarily. Its called moral kidnapping, forcing others to comply to your moral ideals. It’s another story if the country didn’t intend to but that person volunteered anyway.
Also, with the “for the greater good” mindset, I’m pretty sure it won’t work, you’ll end up with a physically strong elite team, but with no human compassion for anyone weaker; I.e: computers

A country that sacrifices someone isn’t worth making? Super naive and ignorant. She would make a kind ruler in an ideal world that doesn’t exist even in fantasy, but she would be a horrible ruler with that mindset. I get sacrificing is bad as to throw away for petty reasons like the MC family. Sacrificing to die to say protecting civilians kids your family etc. That wouldn’t be such a bad country if everyone was willing to go that far for each other. Rant over. oops
