Okay, Yeah. The country deserves to go down in flames for their sheer stupidity and arrogance. Elizabeth, the main character, is not only the centerpiece of their government, but of their military, with many, many off-screen accomplishments starting at 10 years old, and after spurious charges of attacking a baron’s adopted daughter in a jealous fit, despite said woman being well-known to have relations with men other than the crown prince, and going after said prince, her fiance, and they still have her balancing the books and reading confidential, top-secret state documents, as they openly slander her and get the citizens to want to drive her out?!
While the king and her father just write back “let her handle it herself”?

Yes, it’s a great setting, but there is no stupid MC. Yes, it’s a fresh take on OP MC, who can do everything. But suddenly, I will destroy my homeland feels too … well… sudden. It feels forced just for the set-up.
