The idea is kinda fresh for mangas/mamhwas/etc. on this site but also makes no sense. Dude is a year there, he has self-replicating nano-machines. In a year these machines should eat dozens of metalic asteroids, multiply their mass to hundreds of thousands of tonns and dude should have available in orbit literally whatever he wishes. Shipyards, ships, bombs, raw materials…
I don’t think the Chancellor understands that just the dragon could probably solo whatever forces he can muster up

Team Alan with his magic and tech will stomp, everyone will be like “woahhhh”, the dragon will get a scene, and we already know how this all plays out, taking forever with releases just for the most generic plot imaginable.

they want to attack the base while mc is away hehe little do they know how strong advance technology is 
Everybody, the fact the attackers are acting foolishly (not knowing they won’t confront actual magic they think they can counter, but futuristic energy weapons and probably railguns as well) doesn’t mean the scenario os tr*sh.
It only means these savages are overconfident because don’t know at all the nature of what they’re going to fight, period.
