Um, the story feels a bit cobbled together. I don’t mind a change of pace after all, a linear plot isn’t particularly exciting but I’m not convinced this was the right approach. Just introducing a “stronger” power to suppress him, without even telling us what this god and the MC agreed on, feels kind of arbitrary and cheap. At first, I had hoped this would be a better story than the usual clichéd crap, but lately I’ve found myself looking for something else. Maybe I’ll even stop reading manga altogether. Finding the good ones seems harder than finding planets with life in the universe.
