The direction the author is going with this is a faux pas, the story isn’t getting more interesting, but less, now that the MC is not handling what’s happening.

Not really a fan of this plot direction with having the MC essentially out of commission and having unfamiliar characters take his place. Feels like a different story now- one that I have less interest in.

I like this period of character development. It doesn’t feel rushed like lots of stories.
