Also story got a few “corrections”.
The first chapters said awakening had a small chance and nobody knew how or why to awaken.
Later it was tied to the job change where you just could do the job change and get to know your rate (which was over 70%, but under 80% for those characters) but could choose not to awake if you wanted to improve that.
If you chose to continue awaken rate would then determinate not only the chance to awaken, but also the power you had after.
Meaning 100% you would awaken and had all abilities you had in game. While 10% would not only lower that chance, but you only had that fraction of power.
And now it has changed again

Meh. I probably drop it.
All was fine, but then the author had to go and explain magic.
I know, I know, when having magic in a RL setting the itch is big to explain how and why it works, but explaining never works out, because it doesn’t exist in reality.
With: “Magic, duh” I still can suspend my disbelief. But when you start explaining only the uneducated can keep that up because for the rest the brain goes “Nope, nope, nope. That’s how that works, that’s not how any of that works”
And once read we remember that explanation and all magic is broken. Literally. Permanently.
